"The Visitant" was the first of Paul Bunnell's movies to be shown on cable TV (HBO) in 1982.
The movie was filmed at Valhalla Cemetery in North Hollywood, California.

The infamous "Hell" sequence was shot in a garage, utilizing over a mile of tin foil. The flames of the fire came close to burning down the garage, which at times reached the ceiling! Luckily, a neighbor's garden hose was handy for just such an emergency.
